Last night, we celebrated all of us.
With many of the AWDT whanau gathered together – our founders, facilitators, partners and alumni – we looked back on 10 years of empowering primary sector women.
We talked about the power of our purpose and how far we’ve all come together.
We shared some of the 4,500 personal stories of growth from across our programmes, regional hubs and alumni networks.
We honoured the courage and commitment of our founder Lindy Nelson, and heard from those who continue to shape our culture – women like Linda Cooper, Nicki Mackay and Mavis Mullins.
Finally, GM Lisa Sims talked about the road ahead – describing our vision of primary sector women as key connectors who inspire positive action on the great needs of our time; caring for the land and caring for the people.
In celebrating 10 years of AWDT, we celebrated you and every one of us. Because we’re on this journey of #supportedgrowth together - and if the last 10 years are anything to go by, the next 10 look bright. ... See MoreSee Less
