Power Up
Leading for optimal performance
A one-day development programme focused on leading for optimal performance building self-awareness, navigating challenging conversations, and understanding the employment frameworks that support clear, fair, and confident leadership.
Good leadership isn’t always comfortable but it should always be clear and fair.
In 2026 we’re running a Power Up workshop, a convenient one-day session designed to create space to step back, reconnect, and invest in how you lead.
Join us in Christchurch (21 October).
Whether you’re leading on farm, in your business, or in your community, This workshop focuses on leading for optimal performance including how to set clear expectations, give honest feedback, and navigate the tension that can arise when accountability is uncomfortable.
It’s practical, grounded, and built around real-world leadership with space to reflect, learn, and connect with others who are in it too.
Delivered in partnership with Gita Jayaram Consulting.
This one-day workshop is split into 2 parts:
Morning: Personal power and confidence

- Our values and how they impact behaviours
- Techniques to communicate boundaries, state expectations and ask for what we want
- How employment law works
Afternoon: Managing Others

- Practicing techniques to communicate accurately and clearly
- Applying communication techniques and knowledge of employment law to real-life scenarios
