The safety of participants, facilitators and their families is AWDT’s priority. All programmes scheduled from Friday 20 of March to Tuesday 28 April are now postponed. This does not affect any online component of current programmes.

We are still taking registrations of interest for future programmes.

All participants and facilitators have been provided with the specific impact on each course.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide an update in April.

Throughout, our decisions will be guided by instructions from Government and our commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of the wider AWDT community.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and patronage during this difficult time.

 The AWDT Team

Our unique development programmes equip and support women to generate economic, social and environmental progress in the primary sector and rural communities. They address the specific circumstances and needs of rural women – from grass-roots farmers to employees of large companies.

Personal, business, leadership and governance development is delivered through a range of quality programmes held throughout New Zealand. Working with small groups allows our expert facilitators to personalise learning and create a trusted environment for each and every participant.

Supported growth is central to everything we do – before, during and after programmes. Graduates are empowered to continue their growth by connecting with each other and AWDT’s growing regional and national networks long after programmes finish.

Our valued partnerships with industry mean that AWDT programmes are available at no cost or at a heavily subsidised rate, reducing barriers to participation.
